Andalsnes

Travelled: 65km and 1 ferry
Stay: Andalsnes free parking near train station 62.5667 7.6946

The rain and wind rocked Bluey all night long and we couldn't wait until morning to drive down to Molde. We noticed a few Motorhomes had moved during the night not being able to with stand the weather.  We used the free service point near the shell service station, filled up on petrol and then did some shopping at Rema1000. All we needed now was a laundry, which is hard to find in Norway. We decided our best bet was to ask the camp ground just on the edge of town if we could use their laundry without staying (350nok).... And the answer was effectively 'no worries' Yay! As we had a fair bit we ended up doing 2 washes and 2 drys for 40nok each = 160nok (€17) all up. So after a few hours we were off all fresh and clean.

We followed the 64 and took the 15min ferry from Solsnes to Afarnes (230nok-6.5m 213 + 17 senior rate).

Then we continued on the 64 following the Romsdalsfjorden to the resort town of Aldansnes.

View of Andalsnes from otherside of the fjord.

We stopped off for lunch at a campercontact possible stay but the wind was blowing and the rain was pelting down so we thought we may as well go into town 4.5km on.

We parked near the railway station where tourists, mainly from the cruise ships that stop here, hop on the sightseeing Raumabanen train. From here we are to take the famous Trollstigveien drive, which will have to wait until tomorrow when hopefully the weather clears.
