Panasonic Lumix TZ110 

New for  2017. Panasonic's pocketable Travel Zoom (TZ) series of cameras, which originated roughly a decade ago. The new model brings the series up-to-date with a larger, 1-inch (12.8 x 9.6 mm) MOS sensor, and a powerful 10x zoom lens.

Local SIM:

French SIM Card- We applied for an Orange account- SOSH - you can only apply on the internet. It offers 50GB in Europe per month with unlimited calls/sms  for 24.99eu per month .  

International Calling:

call61 for phone calls to Australia (or else where). Used it a couple of times when the wifi was not strong enough for messenger or facetime.

GPS NAVIGATION:

Garmin Camper 760 LMT-D 7" Motorhome Caravan GPS.

Although it is already loaded with a comprehensive list of camp grounds and motorhome parking/service points,we also downloaded for free POI from myLPG and Camper Contact. We used park4night on our ipads and POI are available for download for a small fee.

DASH CAM: Garmin 56 updated 2020

Refillable LPG kit 1 bottle 36l ALUGAS € 399.00 This is a German bottle and a little less expensive than the well known English  Gaslow system. We decided to just install one LPG bottle and keep one French bottle in case we cannot find LPG (it can be difficult in some countries). Here is a link to LPG stations in Europe

The basic kit: 36 litre bottle (28 litre filling) height 680mm x 300mm diameter (with handle) 630mm excluding handle The external filling connection for bodywork (compulsory in France) The filler pipe: (Hose length 50 cm, 100 cm, 150 cm to choose from and straight / right or right / bent 90 ° (to be specified when ordering on delivery option ) The gauge on the cylinder, 3 connectors for filling in France & abroad Delivered Bottle TUV approved EN13110 standard CE0036 5 year warranty (2 years for the rest) Purchased separately (from same company):Spanish connector. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED: TRUMA FILTER to be fitted before the regulator. This will help prevent impurities from the gas clogging up the gas appliances and effecting their efficiency. It is also important to occasionally empty the gas bottle to prevent build up of heavies in the bottom of the bottle, which may eventually lower the gas pressure also effecting the gas appliances, in particular the gas Combi 4 Truma heater/hot water Other alternative: keeping your local gas bottle.  Swap and Go exchanging your local(french)for another local(spanish) as each country has different gas bottle fittings.
