After doing the services and a bit of research on Slovakia, we set off for our spot on the Danube River in a small village close to the Slovakian border. After a bit of a detour we arrived to find only one other motorhome and they left about 15mins later. If your energetic you can ride 28km into Bratislava. We plan to drive in early and park close to the centre, do our visit and drive out again.
We spent the afternoon relaxing and catching up on photo downloads, bookwork and more research. It was too hot to do much else. The next few days will be hot too, so after touring the city we will head North to the mountains.
As a side note...to all fitbit fans.. On days we are walking around visiting I will do 15,000+ steps. (Today I'm ashamed to say I have only done 1700 steps...lol) but no beer either!
