We drove a short way to Quedlinburg and parked for free in a stellplatz that also had services. After breakfast we walked around the old town admiring the timber-frame architecture. 

We then travelled through witch country to Goslar with 1,500 half-timbered houses.

 We spent a few hours strolling around. There we many houses clad in slate which was different. Everywhere you looked there was  lots of different shapes and designs.

We liked some of the old doors and their door knobs and door knocks.

We went shooping today and this is an automatic bottle recycle/refund machine..you can even put your emoty crates in.

At the checkout you dont get chocolates but alcohol temptations!
