Salamanca Spain

After having another walk around the fortress town of Almeida, we had an easy drive along the freeway to Salamanca.

The parking area is very close to the main part of town with a very brief and easy bike ride along the river and over the roman bridge. We walked from here and truly like the ambiance and the quality of the town. The buildings are decorative and well maintained.

First and foremost we needed tapas and a beer. We then climbed up the university towers-Scala Coeli. We enjoyed the view and did some stork watching!

Then another stroll around and another tapas visit before being awed by the cathedral. There is always something unique in their designs in both interior and exterior features.

After a coffee pep up, we looked into some other buildings and then watched the first half of the soccer.

Then back to Bluey.
