Northern coast of Galicia

Travelled:140km
Visited:Viveiro, Cedeira
Stay: Valdovino- free beach parking area, no services, toilets, restriction sign but tollerated in low season. 2 Camp grounds nearby GPS N43.61389 W8.1515
We had a beautiful day. After a walk along the cliff to have another look at the rock formations down on the beach, we followed the coastal road to use the services in the aire in Burela. There were many other parking areas we could havd stopped along the way.

We then visited ths town of Viveiro and walked around the old quarter and looked in at the church.
There was also a replica of the grotto of Lourdes.

We also admired the enclosed balconies.

We bought the version of a local pie at the market.

From here we drove through more Eucalyptus plantations. We felt we were back in Australia!

There were many beautiful coastal views along the way.
We stopped for lunch in the pretty town of Cedeira.

We drove around to the port and then continued on to the our stop in Valdovino, at a lovely long beach.

We spent the evening chatting to a couple from Cornwall who shared some travel info on Portugal along with drinks and nibbles.
