We bought day lift tickets and took the gondola up to the Pic Blanc 3330m. We had a lovely view back down the valley to Alpe d'Huez. Unfortunately there was a bit of cloud cover that prevented the view of the mountains.

We then went back down to the station 2700m where we went for a lovely 2 hour walk to the glacial lakes.

 From here we took the large gondola (160 people) to Vaujany 1252m and had some lunch. We had a stroll around the village before taking the gondola back up to l'Alpette 2058m.

 We then took another gondola down to Oz 1353m and treated ourselves to an icecream before taking a different gondola back up towards Alpe d'Huez 1800m. We did experience lots of different altitudes today! 

On the way back to Bluey we took the obligatory photos on the Tour de France podium. We then spent what was the rest of the afternoon enjoying the sun.
