Stay: Chamonix free parking next to paragliding landing park.

This morning we took the cable car up to Le Brevent which is on a mountain range opposite Mont Blanc. 

We had some terrific views until we took the second gondola to the summit 2525m as we ended up in the clouds. We went for a rocky walk down towards the lake and did manage to get a view of the valley on the other side.

 

We have to walk back up that hill.

 Before taking the cable car back down we stopped to have a look at the paragliders taking off. 

This guy is paragliding in a modified wheel chair.

After a bit of McD internet therapy and footy, we  spent the rest of the afternoon strolling around Chamonix- the boys having a beer, while Robyn and I did some souvenir shopping! After a pizza dinner we took up the Boules challenge with the score after 3 close games - Blooms 2/Bakeys 1
