This morning we walked into the village of Lans en Vercors and bought some fresh fruit at the market and our daily baguette from the boulangerie. We then set off to Autrans with the intention of driving through some gorges. We stopped and had a walk through the pleasant village and popped into the tourist office for some information on what to see and do.
We were also told where we could park Bluey and could stay overnight. So we choose our spot (we were the first ones here) and then picked one of the walks to be done from town. We passed the site of the 1968 Olympic giant ski jump. At the top we had a lovely view of the valley. We then walked back to town via the forest. Back in Bluey we spent the rainy afternoon researching what was to see in the Park and also possible destinations in Italy. The gorges will wait until tomorrow.
Where's Bluey?
So many great wood piles. Hope it lasts them more than one winter!
