Visited:Tour de France, 14th Stage Grenoble-Risoul
Stay: on the road near Risoul
Claimed our spot in front of Bluey and spent the rest of the day watching thousands of people who walked or biked up the hill to find their spot to watch the Tour de France.
We chatted to some Australians and cheered riders on their attempt of the mountain.
We were also entertained by many who dressed up for the occasion.
When the promo caravans came by we waved our arms about and were rewarded with lots of paraphernalia! All a bit of fun.
We then cheered the riders on for their last leg of the race and then it was over.
Pack up time and Bluey was back to normal. We watched all those people walk and ride back down and then the trucks, cars and team buses streamed past. It's quite amazing how many where up there!
All in all a fun day.
