Pamplona Spain

Travelled:120km
Visited:Pamplona
Stay:Pamplona-free parking, no services, Parque de la Tejeria next to river, very close to old qtr.
We had another lovely drive through the country along the N132 to Estella. We did some shopping and found a laundry mat. We then drove to Pamplona and managed to find a spot very close to the old quarter.
We took the bikes into town and rode around looking at the main sights. We followed the route of the bull run to be taken every morning during the 12 day festival, to the Plaza de Toros.

We also went in to visit the Cathedral of Santa Maria. It has a central nave reaching 26.8m and one of its towers holds the 12 ton bell, the heaviest in Spain that is still in operation. There was a alot of silver sculpters and gold alters. There was also a Diocesan Museum housing a collection of religious art including a set of medieval statues of the Virgin.

From here we rode back to Bluey.
