Spent the morning in St.Quentin trying to repair the punctured tyre. No luck at the first place, however they were kind enough to refer us to another who managed to do the repair within the hour. So at 12:30 pm we were heading north to Montbrehain. On 5 October 1918, the 21st and 24th Battalions of the 2nd Australian Division attacked the village and won it off the Germans. This was the last Australian Battle of WW1. They lost 400 lives and Lieutenant Ingram was awarded a Victoria Cross.

We visited some Commonwealth Cemeteries near here and along the way through Joncourt, Bellicourt, Hargicourt, Roisel and Péronne.

Just put of Péronne we stopped to visiting the 2nd Division War Memorial at Mont St.Quentin.

On our way further into the Sommes Battlefields we came across a canal with a place for Bluey to park for the night at Feuilleres and decided to stop.
