Stay: Gurnigelbad carpark 46.76186, 7.44285
On this beautiful clear morning we were able to enjoy the view of the alps, more specifically the Eiger and Jungfrau. We drove along lake Thuner and up into the lower alpine area heading towards Fribourg. It was so pretty and the area offered many walks we decided to stop just after Gurnigelbad. After a 3 hour walk to Leiterepass which offered more great views of the valley and the Alps, we settled in the car park, however a group of young men are setting up a bit of a party, as tomorrow is the National day and a public holiday. So we may wander off to another car parking spot to have a quieter night!
Just got to love the sound of those cow bells....

We got into the spirit of the Swiss National Day.
