Usson

Travelled : 124km
Stay:Riom- aire, free parking, services €2 water/electricity N45.894581 E3.124750
Visited : Usson
We had that rainy day feeling again...we managed to visit Usson, another classified 'beautiful french village' before it started to rain in earnest.
We drove via the Alagnon Valley

Many towns have had circus type of entertainment coming through regularity but this one was a bug truck and car show.
View of Usson..this area is known a volcano or Puy country.

Beautiful view of the valley

We have this organ pipe formation in Melbourne's west.
It Iris time
Great door with a nice solid knocker

More beautiful roses
There are cats everywhere in the villages. This one has made himself comfortable.
In the afternoon we did a bit of Bluey shopping buying supplies at motorhome accessories store, then got a quote for new tyres, bought a thin (4cm) foam mattress (as we were beginning to feel the slates underneath) and found a Ford dealer to take off our Oil warning light as the other dealer forgot to do it! We got the the aire in Riom around 4 and caught up on a few things before we meet up with my cousin Regis.  We spent a lovely evening chatting and of course eating at a restaurant which prides itself on serving local products. Needless to say it was a bit of a late night, hence the blog has been posted a tad late!
