To Tasch

Travelled : 113km
Stay:Tasch- camp ground Chf 35 (incl chf2 rubbish tax!) N46.06554 E7.77489

We decided that we would stop at a couple of villages on the way down the Anniviers valley. We began with a walk around Zinal.

We then went to Grimentz but by the time we got there the clouds had descended and we didn't have much of a view. We used the free service point and had some breakfast.

We thought we may as well drive up to St.Luc but the clouds were even thicker here.

On our way down we noticed the orange motor warning light had come on again. We quickly called Ford in Sierre and made our way there pronto.  Luckily they could determine what the problem was just before the lunch break but we had to wait for them to do the diagnostic tests after lunch. It turned out the part they had fitted yesterday had come loose...good news... no extra charge! So at 3pm we were on the road again and headed straight up to Tasch and decided it was easier just to stay in the camp ground tonight (first one this year!). From here it is a 5 min walk to the train that takes us to Zermatt,  a vehicle free village. From there we can do several different trips to get a closer view of the Matterhorn. Weather permitting!

Never seen these goats before...literally half black and white!
