Crozon Peninsula France

Travelled: 151km
Stay:parking on beach near Point Dinan (Morgat) N48°14.5110' W4°32.6244' / 48.24189, -4.54356

Decided we needed to do a few more kilometres under our belt. So as we have an issue with Blueys air conditioner and a tyre loosing pressure, we headed to Brest. After a bit a shopping we continued our journey to the Crozon Peninsula.  We visited the Pointe des Espagnols which has old fortifications to protect the entrance to Brest Bay and offered great views of Brest.

Our next stop was the Pointe de Pen Hir, where we visited a museum, in an old bunker, about the German U boats (submarines) and the English and American merchant navy in the Atlantic during WW2. We also had great views of the rugged cliffs and coast as well as a field of Menhirs.

On our way to an aire in Morgat camy took us down a narrow road and we came upon a beautiful beach where o few other Motorhomes were parked. So we decided that this was it for us too. Absolute brilliant sunset. We are blessed.
