Stay: Etaples - parking 50.51381, 1.63581
A beautiful day. Started out early and headed to the Cap Griz Nez. This is the closest spot between England and France, only 28km. There were great views of the channel across to the English coast. Had a walk around and came across lots of bunkers and pock marks in the landscape from the incredible amount of bombing it endured in WW2.
After having done a bit of research on where we can put Bluey during the winter and some lunch, we continued down the coast, through a few beach resort towns including Boulogne sur Mer (decided not to stay in the Aire here) and ended up in a carpark in Etaples. Even though the sign says Camping Cars are not allowed, there are about a dozen here and I had it on good authority by a fellow camper that its tolerated.
