Headed in early to Chamonix to find out some information about going up in the cable car to the top at 3800m altitude. Unfortunately the weather is overcast today, so we managed to find free parking just 5 mins walk out of town next to the park the para gliders land in that also has a toilet and a fountain for fresh water.

The fellow Motorhomes next to us has been there a week and none has said anything even though the sign says 24hours. So we will stay there until the weather clears. Meteo says Friday as the best day. So we will enjoy walking around town and lower tracks.
