Had a walk through the market in Chamonix before heading up along the valley towards Switzerland.
We drove around and settled on a spot along the river. We walked around town and up along the gorge of the glacier track which offered a great view of the village.
I loved the field of flowers! Our coach drove by an area exactly like that on our way back to our ship last year following our visit to the Bayeux Tapestries. It was so pretty! I tried to take a photo from the moving bus and in the rain so unfortunately it did not work, so I was pleased to see your photo.
