Set off down the mountain and stopped just past Axat next to the Aude river where many set off to go whitewater rafting. Chatted to a young Australian couple from Warrandyte and skyped with family. We then headed towards Quillan, but stopped at a road side food van and had a hamburger for lunch. 

We then made our way through Cathar country and stopped to visit a small castle in Arques. 

From here we travelled to Lagrasse, and were pleasantly surprised by the lovely medieval town and the Abbey. We had a walk around and then settled in the aire.
