After doing some shopping to be all stocked up, we set off to Alpe d'Huez. We travelled through some magnificent scenery.
We knew it would be busy at Alpe d'Huez, but I think you can never be prepared for the amount of Motorhomes that are actually here. That in itself is amazing. That the French are prepared for this is fantastic. Even though the riders don't finish here until 5pm Thursday 18th July, there is already a buzz of fun and excitement. People are friendly and we have met and chatted to some of the many English and Australians that are here. The weather today was beautiful and we are looking forward to being part of the fun. Bluey is among the 1000's of motorhomes here and we are not along the route. It will be interesting how close we will beable to get. Might have to start camping out for a spot!
