Alpe d'Huez day 2 France

We had a fabulous day. The weather was perfect blue sky and sunshine and so we set off at 8 am up in the gondola to the Pic Blanc at 3330m alt. we had a breathtaking 360 panoramic view of the alps.

After we descended to 2700m and went for a 2 hour walk through some patches of snow to the Lac du Milieu.

 We then took a gondola to a village called Oz and had some lunch in one of the restaurants in the quaint little ski village.  

After we went for a walk through more of Alpe d'Huez and were once again taken back by the amount of motorhomes that are actually here. Spent a pleasant afternoon chatting with fellow

campers and are now being entertained by some ompapa music from distant German playing musicians somewhere in the camp!
