As the saying goes 'all good things must come to an end'. This morning we had to leave Seville.
As we had a bit of time before Tom and Kristy had to take the plane back to London, we all took a taxi to Bluey (€18) and drove to Carmona. We had a walk around the old quarter and ate lunch before it was time to go the the airport.

Next time we see them both will be when we get back home at the end of July in time, we hope, for the birth of our first grandchild. They have a busy time ahead and we look forward to our reunion along with our daughter and her partner.

So from here we headed South to the coastal town of Sanlucar de Barrameda.  It is a fishing port at the mouth of Rio Guadalquivir.  Our taxi driver said due to this the beach here is not very clean and suggested Conil, where his parents live, on the Costa De la Luz.  But for today Sanlucar was as far as we wanted to drive. The parking area is big and free and right near the water, so we can't complain but it is very much a resort town and not really our thing.
We spent the afternoon unpacking and did some shopping.  We bought some strawberries at €1.10/kg..a bargain!
After dinner we enjoyed the beautiful sunset.
