Ferrara to Pistoia

Travelled:153km
Visited: Ferrara, Pistoia
Stay:Pistoia-sosta, free parking and sevices GPS N43.94389 E10.91556

We decided to walk into Ferrara this morning and we went along some different roads admiring the Renaissance architecture. One of these buildings was the Diamond Palace deriving its name from the 8500 stones cut in a diamond shape.

The oval centre of the Theatre.

Statue of Duke Borso and Niccolo III on the Municipal Palace.

Lions at the cathedral.

And a couple of shop windows.

When then travelled south part of the way along the autoroute and then on the SS64 over the mountain into Tuscany.

We found a spot in a sosta in Pistoia and after an early dinner we enjoyed walking around the historic centre. We took a look inside the cathedral and the entrance to the museum. Then after a few more sreets and piazzas whilst eating our gelati, we returned to Bluey.
