Nice France

Visted: Nice
Stay: Parking roadside on Promonade des Anglais, free on public holidays 43.69175, 7.24887

Ww woke up early and headed into Nice and we found a parking space on the coast road and an added bonus is parking is free on public holidays! Oh and there is sunshine. Walked to the old quarter and up the hill offering great views of Nice. After a coffee we thought we would walk to some museums but we lost enthusiasm and hired some bikes. What fun and such a great way to get around. We rode to the port where some very expensive boats are moored and watched the ferry to Corsica come in to dock. Then we road along the coast joining thousands of locals and tourists walking, cycling, roller blading and running. All enjoying the beautiful day. 2 hours later we returned our bikes and it only cost us 6 euros. A bargain. Mark sat at McDs to watch the replay of the Bombers victory over the Magpies on ANZAC day with the AFL app the kids bought him for his birthday. Walked around some more and had a beer. Later we sat on a bench seat watching the night lights come to life. Decided to stay where we are parked on the main coastal road. Hope we get some sleep!
