Drove through the impressive Gorges de Dalius. The rock was the same as Cians but the road took us along the top of the gorges. We then drove on to Castellane past the Lac de Castillon with its it's aqua green colour and we stopped at the dam wall. We found a spot at the Aire in Castellane and walked UP to visit the Chapelle Notre Dame du Roc, which dominates the towns' skyline. We had lovely views of the valley and town. Later, when the rain cleared, we walked around town, along the river and crossed a bridge built in 1052.
