Stay: 1 night beach near Carqueiranna in free car park 43.07997, 6.12465
Didn't travel far today but after having difficulty finding a spot in Giens, when we saw one along the road to Toulon, we jumped on it. It turns out that we were parked next to a lovely sandy beach. We tested out the bikes and after a few adjustments, we rode into the Port of Carquieranne and had some lunch. We then went to the beach and swam in the Mediterranean. I felt a little overdressed in my one piece bathers. Over here one piece bathers is just the bottom of a bikini! Mark didn't know which way to look! Oh la la !! Mark must have been distracted because after some time in the water he felt a buss in his pocket and realized he had forgotten to take out the car keys. Luckily the Ford keys are still working but the alarm keys are sitting in the rice to dry out. Never know they might come back to life. Ah...everyday brings new adventures.
