Drove through the Gorges du Verdon in the direction of Moustier-Sainte-Marie. Fantastic views and different from the previous gorges. On one of the lookouts we were entertained by tightrope walkers crossing above a ravine. Spectacular. We also saw vultures flying in the thermals of the gorge. What a treat. Later we had to wait while a BMW film crew were shooting an advert along the road. We were then greeted by the aqua green waters of Lac de Sainte-Croix. The river Verdon flows into this lake and there is water sports abound. We continued the winding road back on the left bank of the Verdon through the Tunnel du Fayet and across the Artuby Bridge. Rain is again falling as we relax at the Aire in a quaint little village.
