Venus Bay, Talia Caves, Eyre Peninsula SA

We enjoyed our stay at Pildappa Rock. Our next destination was Venus Bay on the Eyre Peninsula. We have visited this area twice before and it is a favourite of ours. We do the obligatory walk out in the pier. The colour of the water is so beautiful.

At the nearby lookouts and admire the amazing coastline. We even spot a pod of dolphins but they are too far to get a good photo.

A lovely fence..what a great effort
The Needle.
Not far south is another great spot, Talia Caves area. We were planning on staying the night on the cliffs but when we arrived the road was closed to that area, so we parked up behind the dunes instead.
We explore the Woolshed Cavern.
We thought this was a stalactite but on closure look it was honeycomb..there were lots of bees around.
Then walk out to The Tub.

Again enjoying the beautiful coastline.

A few other campers join us by nights end the most we have had around us for quite sometime.
