Stay: Park d'Hiver Storage
Our flight to Paris went well. In the 24 hours the journey takes, we morph between our 2 different lives. We always find it difficult leaving our family and friends. We feel sorrow in the physical separation. During the plane trip we leave this behind and take on our role of travellers and after a day of sorting our things in Bluey and hopefully a good nights sleep, we are ready to drive off to explore more of Europe. We feel both excitement and trepidation of the unknown. We have a very basic route for the next 16 weeks, but that is the way we like it... Deciding at the last minute wether we will turn left or right. That is the beauty and flexibility of a Motorhome. We hope you will enjoy discovering some new places with us.
Today, on the way to Bluey from the airport, our driver kindly stopped at the shops to pick up enough food for lunch, dinner and breakfast. We were also appreciative of him of offering to sell us his and his wife's bikes. This has saved us a few hours of running around. We then spent the day in a kind of haze and struggled to keep awake until 7pm. We are lucky that we can stay overnight at Bluey's storage, as we don't think we would be capable of driving. All the batteries have survived well - Mark disconnects the negative leads. So after unpacking and a hot shower we try to stay awake as long as we can to get us in sinc with this time zone.
