The rain did not ease today and we were lucky to see 10°. We travelled through high fertile land dominated by canola fields and merino studs. Got a tad dirty on this road especially when the truck drove past.
In Quairading we took a photo of the El Toro sculpture created from retired tools and farm equipment parts.
We continued on to Kokerbin which has the 3rd largest monolith in Australia (Uluru is the largest!).
We tried to wait out the rain to get an opportunity to climb to the summit but it was a real pea souper today with wind and rain squalls. But we did brave it for a quick walk out to Wave Wall (a bit smaller than Hyden).
We drove around to the other side and had a look at the 20m deep well.
A little further in Shackleton we stopped to look at the smallest bank in Australia!

The metal sculptures were a bit of fun too.
We decided to stop in Bruce Rock at the 48hr RV parking amd waited out the wet weather.
Finally at 4pm the clouds broke up and we rugged up to have a walk along the main street.
The mosaics squares were created by residents proud of their heritage.
Then back to the van for a quiet night with hopes for better weather tomorrow.
