Split to Skradin Croatia

Travelled:148km
Stay: Skradin- Carpark of Visovac Restaurant GPS N43 49.1490 E15 55.4610
Visited:Split, Trogir, Skradin

The Bora winds were stilled last night so we managed to get a better sleep, but as we packed up to leave it was blowing again.
We drove along the coast to a parking next to the harbour in Split.

At 24kn/h (€3) we didn't waste much time going to see the old town centre. It is a very busy place. The port is full of tour boats and today, being Saturday may have been change over day. We walked through the market and inside the walls of what once used to be the Palace of Diocletian.

It is not very big and within 2 hours we were heading off to Trogir (a UNESCO site). This old town is set on a small island just off the mainland. Parking here was 28kn/h (€4), so away we went and had a pleasant stroll through the town and along the harbour.

Our next destination was Skradin, a small inland harbour town, to visit Krka National Park.
Some of the sights on our way...

We saw that a restaurant in town offered free parking and asked if we could stay the night. They said if we had dinner we could. It was a bit late to visit the falls so we parked up and went for a walk to see the town and the went to have dinner.

After dinned we went for another stroll into town and saw what appeared to be a cook off of a fish stew. Smelled good...lots of singing.
