Visited:Wieskirche
This morning we drove through some beautiful countryside to Wieskirche. In 1738 a farmers wife noticed tears on a statue of Jesus and so it became a pilgrim site. Since then the area has become well visited which it noticeable in the paid parking and facilities provided. We arrived before anything was open except, luckily for us, the church.
So we popped to admire another well decorated interior.
Then we were off travelling through pretty country villages, some were no more than farms. Cows were everywhere enjoying the lush green grass.
We eventually arrived at our spot for tonight at an archeological site but a storm was brewing so we decided not to risk a visit. There didn’t seem to be any information in English even on the internet. Chatted to an Austrian motorhomer and called it a day.
