The Emeraude Coast, Brittany France

Travelled:83km
Stay: Cap Frehel campground €4/24hrs, free service point, toilets/showers closed. N48°39.8040' W2°20.3628'
Visited: drove along the Emeraude coast.

After another walk at St Coulomb beach we drove along the coast road to Rotheneuf. This was our second choice of stay for last night and was free parking with great views of the coast on St.Malo N48.681030 W1.985120

We wondered around the coastal path in amongst the old forts and bunker remains for a while before driving through St.Malo. We had been here 2 years ago and wanted to explore the other side of Dinard which we had previously missed. Unfortunately it was not an area that was motorhome friendly with lots of signs and low barriers.  We stopped briefly in St.Briac sur Mer and then went to have a look at St.Jacut de la Mer with no luck. We drove to St.Cast le Guildo which did have a few parking options but none that we liked.

So on we went to Cape Frehel with mixed emotions as this was where we had crashed into a bollard 2 years ago causing considerable damage to poor Bluey. We cautiously drove the coastal road making sure we were not distracted by the stunning views. We did manage to spot the camp ground and decided to stay.
We spent the rest of the afternoon relaxing in the glorious autumn sunshine.
