Farewells and meet ups in London

It was an early start with a 6am departure to accompany Claire to Heathrow airport.

 We then went to Earl's Court, where Mark had visited 40 years ago.

We also saw Dr.Who's Tardis!

Next we went to Hammersmith to meet up with Mike and Jan and spent the rest of the afternoon together in London. We started with a beer up on the 32nd floor of The Shard then lunch at The Anchor.

We walked over the Millenium Bridge and strolled along the Strand to Covent Garden.

 

We managed to catch an opera act and a bit of classical music.

The stopped in a pub near Trafalgar Square for a farewell drink.

 

Then it was back to Clapham.
