The unusual June foggy weather continued today, shelving plans for a boat ride to the nearby island of Brehat. So after breakfast we took our chances of better weather and went inland a bit to the port village of Treguier. It also has a very impressive cathedral in a pretty main square which is brightened up with colourful half timbered buildings.
We snuck in to have a quick look inside before mass and then walked down to the tidal Trieux river and had a look at some classic cars.
After lunch we braved the weather and went for a lovely walk to one of the last remaining windmills in the area which is put to work during the summer months, showing how flour was once milled.
Unfortunately no beautiful views out to sea but we lifted up our spirits with some yummy cakes and a few card games of Belotte.
We ended the day with a belly full of delicious lobster in cream sauce.
I really like your pictures.
