Amiens to Ypres/Ieper, Belgium

Travelled:164km
Visited:Amiens, Albert, Pozieres, Arras, Ypres
Stay:Ypres - free parking along the moat down from Menin Gate, no service point. N50.847618 E2.893380

We woke up to lovely blue skies. We walked into Amiens to have a look at the Cathedral which opened at 8:30am. We would have got an audioguide but the office didn't open until 10am. There was some information inside.

After breakfast we headed to Albert and had a look at the beautiful church with its pretty mosaics and painted timber ceiling.

On our way to Arras we stopped to have a look at the Australian 1st Division War Memorial and the Windmill Memorial.

In Arras we went up the Belfry tower and then continued on our way to Ypres.

Unfortunately it was raining so we chilled out in Bluey before braving a visit into the centre of town. Where we enjoyed some waffles and the 'Last Post' at Menin Gate.
