The Dordogne

Travelled: 104km
Visited: Belves market, Lalinde, Bergerac, Cancon
Stay: Cancon- Aire free parking and services.. GPS N44°32.192' E0°37.530'
Woke up to the sound of little white vans parking around us and remembered it was market day. Worried we would be jammed in we quickly moved Bluey so we could make our escape when needed to. After a coffee we went to the market and bought the most delicious strawberries and cherries.

Our next stop was Lalinde another Bastide town but Belves was definately the pick.
Whilst on our way to Bergerac we heard from fellow campingcarist Mike and Jan from Perth. We arranged to meet them in Cancon 40km away. But before heading off we found a parking spot at the old port of Bergerac and had a walk around. We really enjoyed the atmosphere of the old town.

We spent a pleasant afternon and evening in Cancon with Mike and Jan sharing travel stories and destinations. Worst thing was the Western Australians beat us at petanque! Mark and I really need to get in some practice.
