Landed and ready to go

Travelled: Melbourne to Paris
Stay: Rousseloy: Park d'Hiver: Campingcar storage facility  49.29761, 2.39677

We left a very wintery day in Melbourne and after 24 hours we landed in a beautiful sunny spring day in Paris.
Farewell drinks

Goodbyes at the gate

Good morning Paris

Our fellow traveling companions my Dad and his wife Lucy. We part ways as they go to visit family in Brittany.
We get picked up by someone from Bluey's storage facility who kindly stops at the supermarket on the way for us to have a few supplies... Milk, coffee, a couple of baguettes.

Here's Bluey all woken up from his hibernation!

We spend the rest of the day unpacking and rearranging our things. Fill up with water and get re-acquainted with how everything works! Luckily it's no problems for us to stay, so we plug in to the electricity and hope that the batteries charge up ok. Mark does a check on the engine fluids and tyre pressure (need pumping up)

By 4pm we are done and the beers (we had left a few vital things in Bluey) are cold enough to drink. Cheers. Let the adventures begin.

  1. Have a great time! I have friends travelling through France at the moment and as betty puts photos up on Face Book I always think "I remember Mark and Mireille going there! Today they are in Arles.
