To Hattah Lake Victoria

Since our last trip in Buster we have made a few small additions…

*12v panel in the front dash

*an extra table leg to improve its stability

*a outdoor amber light

*a ‘crane’ to lift the spare tyre onto roof rack

*outside rubbish bag holder

Today we set off for a new adventure heading for Broome and Darwin. Our first day took us 500km along previously travelled roads so we concentrated on just doing some kms.

We enjoyed award winning pies from the Country Cob Bakery in Kyneton.

We took a stroll and a had cuppa in Wedderburn around 11am admiring the various bird murals and autumn colours.

Then had another break in Sea Lake which also had some great murals and a quintessential country pub.

We got some cheap fuel ($1.56) in Ouyen before heading to our spot for tonight on the banks of Lake Hattah, which are offering free camping until the end of June 2025.

Although we had blue skies and sunshine all day, there was definitely a wind chill effect. So after a quick refreshing welcome drink, we had a stroll around before returning to camp (been here in August 23).

Then Mark successfully problem solved the toilet pump which wasn’t working with the help of YouTube.

After dinner Buster kept us nice and warm as the temperature dropped down to 0° overnight.
