After breakfast we said our goodbyes and drove to Fougères.
We parked in the Aire just near the medieval castle and went for a walk around the lower and upper part of the town. It is a lovely town and there are great views from the gardens.
We then spent the rest of the afternoon visiting the castle, which had extensive information not only on the the history of Fougères, but also of the surrounding area.
We returned to Bluey just as the rain came down with a passing storm. After dinner we had a short stroll to see the water filled quarry behind the Aire.
