We enjoyed a beautiful warm autumn day on the canal near Nemours as we couldn’t resist to stay another day and night here. After a satisfying bacon and egg breakfast we walked into town along the canal (4km return).
We looked at the old chateau, now museum, that is closed at the moment.
Further along the Loing River we came across the church.The weekly market was here but we didn’t need any more food as we need to dwindle our supplies for the end of our trip. But I did buy a new pair of shoes from one of the local shops.We spent some of the afternoon cleaning Bluey. But also relaxed enjoying the sunny day. Later we watched another boat go through the canal lock.We just love having these slow days every now and again…
