Tambo to Mitchell QLD

After some breakfast we walked 10mins into Tambo to the laundry. Whilst our dirty clothes were whirling around we took to the streets to take in some sights. 

The rest of the day was spent relaxing back at camp until 5pm when we returned into town to watch the infamous Chicken Race at the Royal Carrangarra Hotel. 

The next morning we set off in Buster once again. 

We drove through the head of the storm and made it to Augathella in the sunshine. We admired the many murals throughout the town. 

Then continued another 180km to Mitchell, stopping 3km short at Fishermans Rest campground.
