Jundah QLD

We set off this morning for a nice wool along Cooper Creek.

We drove along the Nature Trail which had some signs next to bushes and trees with their names. There were some interesting names like the Emu Apple.

We did a quick drive in Windorah past a few interesting points. The murals coming into town.

Some old buildings.

The solar farm.

Another 100km up the road we got to Jundah,

where we selected a camping spot on the banks of the Thomson River.

Where we once again watched birds swoop to catch fish and saw a few turtles sunning themselves on the rocks.

After a quiet night we drove towards Stonehenge. On the way we saw a native well.

We stopped at the Swanvale Jumpup lookout.

We drove through Stonehenge township.

Not far out we got the drone up to look at the the Address Book - names written in stones, started by the local mailman when he broke down with his truck.

From here we drove 150km into Longreach where we will stay a couple of days exploring. We parked up in the Apex Park with the most amount of caravans and motorhomes with have stayed with so far.
The Thomson River near the camp.
These birds aren’t to fussed about all the campers
