Victoria Horseyard Flat

Travelled:85 km from Muttonwood campsite to Horseyard Flat Campsite (Moroka River)

Visited: Bennison Lookout, Lost Plain Picnic area, McFarlans Saddle, The Pinnacles Lookout

Stay: Horseyard Flat - free, toilets, fire pits  -37.482932 146.981317

The gravel road today was in good condition. We headed off just after our morning coffee and enjoyed the views at Bennison Lookout.

We had breakfast at the lovely picnic spot at Lost Plain where you can also head off on some walks. (it looked a bit to overgrown for us).

At the junction turned right onto Moroka Road and stopped at McFarlans Saddle (had mobile reception). Unfortunately all the walking tracks were closed due to fire damage.

We continued on to the Horseyard Flat campsite and found a great spot overlooking the Moroka River.

 As it was such a clear day we unhitched the caravan and headed out to The Pinnacles Lookout.

Back at camp we went for a walk to the old mountain hut we saw on the way into camp.
