Day 30, Wednesday 3 June 2026

We had always regretted not staying longer the last time we were here and as we were also due for a ‘rest’ day there was no better place or time for it.

The weather improved with sunshine and light cloud for us to enjoy a lovely day.

In the morning we ventured back into the port area and bought some delicious croissants for breakfast as well as a puff pastry swirl glazed in chocolate that we had spotted yesterday.

We strolled along the beach and the back to Bluey for a while.

Around 12:30 we went back to walk across the causeway to the island. We had to be careful as it was very slippery.

We wouldn’t help but return to Norai restaurant for a plate if squid and spainish peppers… oh and a couple of beers too…delicious.

To help digest we walked up to the lighthouse (4km return).

Another rest in Bluey before heading back to the port area for some afternoon people watching… lots of action with kids swimming at the beach, boats going out and people promenading. Such a lovely atmosphere.

We were still full from lunch so we opted for a drink and some croquettes to share.

Then back to Bluey. It’s a full house tonight.
