We install the Aussie Traveller door. As with everything we tackle there is always a bit of an extra challenge but Mark seems to find a solution and the door is glued in.
Now the door is in we can fit the last of the external angles along the bottom edge. These angles are 1.5mm thick and 50 x 50mm wide. Notches were needed to allow the wiring for the clearance lights and the ends cut to for in the corners.
Mark tidied up some of the cabinetry and did a mock up of our dinette table on the Lagun swivel leg. We were happy how it turned out. He will make the table top from some hardwood he has laying around.
Next he tackled the diesel hot water and heater installation. We bought a DH15 system from Dieselheat in Tasmania. Along with the hotwater system, we have a fan head in the main room with a smaller fan head in the bathroom (good for drying clothes). Mark had to run power wires to the battery and a fuel uptake hose from a diesel tank. He also set up the exhaust under the chassis.
Finally our tool boxes and checker plate skirting was ready to be picked up from the ToolBox Centre. Over a couple of days they were fitted and installed.
