Once again we appreciated the warm hospitality. Now it’s time to head home to lockdown!
Our journey home continues. We decided to fill up the fridge in Goulburn (so we didn’t need to go shopping when we returned to lockdown).
The big Merino
We stopped to have a look at the Dog on the Tuckerbox..
We then had a pleasant stroll around Gundagai.
A gold rush town.A memorial to the aboriginals that helped save many people from the flood of 1852.
During the 420km drive we admired the beautiful country side.
We thought to spot in Woomargama, about 60km from the border, but we were having issues with the van batteries not charging.
So we decided to make a run for the border and booked a caravan park in Wodonga (Albury didn’t want us!) We sailed by at least 5km of traffic banked up going north into NSW waiting to be processed by the police. As it was late in the day we settled in.
