Got Bluey's service done at the Ford dealership in Paray le Monial this morning..oil change and check up cost €143. We then called in for a quick hello with Mr Martin at JL Loisirs who we bought Bluey through before setting off down the road to Roanne. It is a reasonably sized town on the Loire River. Although there is a payable aire on the banks of the canal, we noticed some motorhomes parked in a big carpark down the other end.
After a brief walk around we continued on towards Lyon,
We are 'travelling all over the country side'....
stopping on the way in a quiet spot next to the lake in Joux. We relaxed the rest of the afternoon and walked around the lake after dinner.
Are you going to travel further afield this year? I remember Denis said that you are catching up with Tom in London so will you be travelling around Britain too?
ReplyDeleteHi Jennie, thanks for your comments. It sounds like you will have a busy time. This year we plan to visit more of Italy then Croatia, Slovenia, Austria then through Germany back to Paris before going to visit Tom in London without Bluey. We will think about a Motorhome trip in Britain for next year. Take care and happy travels.
DeleteYou will love Croatia and Slovenia . I was there last September and both countries were very pretty. There is also a lot of old history in Croatia which I always enjoy
