Our 2016 trip

In life it helps to be flexible and able to change plans. Luckily for us, the re-booking of our flights was due to a new addition to our family. We were overjoyed in celebrating our son, Tom and Kristy's wedding and very excited at the news that we were becoming a Grandpa and Grandma later this year. So instead of our planned May to October trip, we are sneaking in 16 weeks from early April to the end of July to be home in time for the birth of our first grandchild. 

The weather can be a little on the colder side in Northern Europe in April, so we are heading to Southern Spain and Portugal and possibly Morocco. We are also looking forward to a weekend in Seville with our son and his wife. We will then make our way to Switzerland via France and then back to Paris to come home.

Once again we have kept busy while we have been home and enjoyed time with our family and friends. 

Here are a few photos to share with you of our special day. We were very proud parents of both our children (our daughter was a bridesmaid) and also of our new daughter-in-law. We feel blessed to have such a beautiful family.
